A recent study provides normative data for growth patterns in ambulatory males (2-12 years) with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy: J Pediatr 2013; 163: 1759-63.

These growth curves show that males with DMD are shorter and tend to the extremes of weight and body mass index compared to the general population.
